BCM81181A1KRFBG 16nm 400GbE PAM-4 PHY


Instructions:

Broadcom& BCM81181 is a single-chip, low-power, low-latency PAM-4 PHY that integrates retimer and equalizer capabilities to support 400GbE applications. In 400GbE mode, BCM81181 retimed, added FEC (optional), and equalized 8 times; 50G PAM-4 host side signal is divided into 8 times; 50G PAM-4 line-side signals that drive optical PAM-4 links in next-generation modules, including QSFPDD and OSFP.BCM81181 are IEEE compliant with KP4 FEC and FEC bypass capabilities. On-chip clock synthesis is performed by a low-cost 156.25 MHz reference clock via a high-frequency, low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL). The BCM81181 is manufactured in an advanced low-power 16 nm CMOS process and offers a RoHS compliant package.
