Overview:

The Murata 1SJ (LBAA0QB1SJ-296) integrated LoRaWAN® modem size is 10.0mm x 8.0mm x 1.6mm and is suitable for a variety of high-capacity applications that require small size, long range, long battery life, safety and a competitive price point. The Model 1SJ LoRa module is based on the second-generation Semtech SX1262 RFIC (RFIC) and also uses STMicroelectronics' open STM32L0 microcontroller (MCU) along with RF switches, 192kB of flash memory and 20kB of RAM. This large memory supply ensures that sufficient resources are available for the application layer. The micro-module also has a temperature controlled crystal oscillator (TXCO) and multiple communication interfaces, including UART/I2C/SPI/ADC/USB and various GPIOs.

The 1SJ module operates with a single power rail (up to 3.9VDC), has multiple low-power modes, and supports real-time clock (RTC) operation with a typical current of 1.3µA. This enhanced current consumption enables its devices to operate for years on a single battery. With open MCUS, modules can easily brush in code from the "TO Protect Library" of trusted objects, ensuring the security and encryption of flash memory and protecting end systems from the growing threat of malicious tampering. The resin-moulded package module has high physical durability and can operate in the temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
