STGAP2SICDTR - Current isolated 4 A dual gate driver

Description

The STGAP2SiCD is a SiC MOSFET dual-gate driver designed to provide electrical isolation between each gate drive channel and the low-voltage control and interface circuits. Gate drivers support 4 A current capability and rail-to-rail output for medium to high power applications such as power conversion and industrial motor drive inverters. Separate output pins allow for individually optimized on-off and off-off using dedicated gate resistors, while Miller clamping features avoid gate spikes during rapid commutation in half-bridge topologies. Protection is integrated: dedicated SD and BRAKE pins are available, and UVLO and thermal shutdown functions are included, making it easy to design highly reliable systems. In a half-bridge topology, interlocking prevents the output from being high at the same time, avoiding breakdown conditions caused by incorrect logic input instructions.
