Overview：

The TPS6521845RSLT is a single-chip power management IC specifically designed to support portable (lithium-ion battery) and non-portable (5V adapter) applications. The device is designed for use with NXP i.MX 6Solo and 6DualLite processors. The TPS6521845 has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +105°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

Features

• Three adjustable buck converters (DCDC1, DCDC2, and DCDC3) with integrated switching FETs:

- DCDC1: The default voltage is 1.425V and the current is up to 1.8A

- DCDC2: The default voltage is 1.425V and the current is up to 1.8A

- DCDC3: The default voltage is 1.5V and the current is up to 1.8A

- Input voltage range: 2.7V to 5.5V

- Adjustable output voltage range: 0.85V to 1.675V (DCDC1 and DCDC2)

- Adjustable output voltage range: 0.9V to 3.4V (DCDC3)

- Enter the energy saving mode when the load current is light

- 100% duty cycle to achieve the lowest pressure drop

- Active output discharge is supported when disabled

• 1 adjustable buck/boost converter (DCDC4) with integrated switching FET:

- DCDC4: The default voltage is 3.3V and the current is up to 1.6A

- Input voltage range: 2.7V to 5.5V

- Adjustable output voltage range: 1.175V to 3.4V

- Active output discharge is supported when disabled

• 2 low static current, high efficiency buck converters (DCDC5, DCDC6) for backup battery areas

- DCDC5:1V output voltage

- DCDC6:1.8V output voltage

- Input voltage range: 2.2V to 5.5V

- Powered by system power or spare button battery

• Adjustable Universal LDO (LDO1)

- LDO1: The default voltage is 1.8V and the current is up to 400mA

- Input voltage range: 1.8V to 5.5V

- Adjustable output voltage range: 0.9V to 3.4V

- Active output discharge is supported when disabled

• Low voltage load switch (LS1) with 350mA current limit

- Input voltage range: 1.2V to 3.6V

- When the voltage is 1.35V, the switch impedance is 110mΩ (Max.)

5V load switch with 100mA or 500mA optional current limit (LS2)

- Input voltage range: 4V to 5.5V

- When the voltage is 5V, the switch impedance is 500mΩ (Max.)

• High voltage load switch with 100mA or 500mA selectable current limit (LS3)

- Input voltage range: 1.8V to 10V

- Switching impedance: 500mΩ (Max.)

• Monitors with built-in monitoring can be used to monitor:

- DCDC1, DCDC2 ±4% tolerance

- DCDC3, DCDC4 ±5% tolerance

- LDO1 ±5% tolerance

• Protection, diagnosis and control:

- Undervoltage Lock (UVLO)

- Normally turn on the button monitor

- Overheat warning and shutdown

- The standby power supply and the active power supply use independent power output in normal state

- I2C interface (address 0x24) (see timing requirements for I2C operation at 400kHz)
