The DSC557-0333FI1 clock generator is a crystal-less, dual-output PCI express clock generator that complies with the Gen1, Gen2, Gen3, and Gen4 specifications.

Overview:

The DSC557 Dual output MEMS clock generator is a crystal free, dual output PCI express clock generator compliant with Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 and Gen4 specifications. Without the need for an external quartz crystal oscillator, the DSC557 significantly improves reliability and accelerates product development. The DSC557-03 clock generator has an output enable/disable function to disable output during OE low hours. The device is available in two different packages, the space-saving 14-pin QFN (77% less board space) and the 16-pin TSSOP (a direct replacement for the existing ICS557-03 clock).

The DSC557-03 clock generator operates from 2.25V to 3.6V and from -40°C to 85°C. The output format of the clock generator is also available in any combination of LVCMOS, LVDS and HCSL. Typical applications include gateways, VoIP, passive fiber networks, industrial, medical, security systems, office automation, and smart TVS.
