The R7FA2A2BD3CFN 32-bit microcontroller (MCU) is based on the 48MHz Arm Cortex-M23 core with rich peripheral features for a variety of applications. The RA2A2 microcontroller features a high-resolution ADC, continuous firmware update capability, segmented LCD, and low-power operation that simplifies system design. RA2A2 MCUS support 24-bit Σ-Δ ADCs, dual-group code flash, stand-alone power RTC and segmented LCDS for energy management and general-purpose applications. These microcontrollers are available in 64-pin to 100-pin package options in LFQFP package.

These microcontrollers use a variety of power supply structures and voltage detection hardware to enable energy-efficient ultra-low power operation. Independent power Supply RTC (IRTC) enables long battery life and is suitable for applications that require long service life management under extreme conditions. Typical applications include industrial and building automation, home appliances, medical and health care, consumer electronics, and system control for energy management (including next-generation smart meters).
