Product introduction

Broadcom® BCM87800 is the industry's highest performance and lowest power consumption single-chip 800GbE PAM-4 PHY transceiver, capable of driving an eight-channel 106 Gb/s PAM-4 at 53 Gbaud with support for both DR8 and 2xFR4 fiber links. The BCM87800 leverage Broadcom's market-leading 7-nm PAM-4 PHY transceiver technology platform, which has been validated with the BCM8740X PHY, providing a pathway to accelerate the availability of 800G QSFP-DD/OSFP optical modules. Broadcom's advanced DSP technology and equalization technology compensate for light damage while maintaining the lowest power consumption in the world to deploy 25.6 Tb/s and higher density switch ASICs in pluggable optical modules and co-packaged optical solutions.
