Overview:

The VR5510 Automotive multi-output PMIC is designed for gateway, ADAS, V2X and infotainment applications. The VR5510 includes a variety of high-efficiency switching modes and linear regulators. PMIC provides external frequency synchronization on input and output to optimize system EMC performance.

The VR5510 Automotive Multi-output PMIC features enhanced safety features with fail-safe outputs covering ASIL B and ASIL D safety integrity levels. VR5510 can be fully implemented in a security-oriented system partition or configured as a non-secure QM version part.

The VR5510 is available in a variety of versions, supports a variety of safety applications, and offers a variety of options for the number of output rails, output voltage Settings, operating frequency, and power-on sequencing.

The VR551 is packaged in QFN56 with heat-enhanced wettable flanking. Devices with wettable flanks that support automatic optical inspection (AOI) demonstrate greater shear resistance and can cope with PCB deflection for improved reliability.
