OVERVIEW 

The EZ-PD™ PAG1P (1st Generation Primary Power Adapter) is Infineon's primary-side start-up controller for the mobile power adapter market for AC/DC applications.The EZ-PD™ PAG1P interfaces directly to the AC supply or to the DC output of a bridge rectifier in x-cap discharge mode.The EZ-PD™ PAG1P is available in a 10-pin SOIC package.


The EZ-PD™ PAG1P is designed for secondary controlled AC/DC flyback converter topologies. In this topology, voltage and current regulation is performed by the secondary controller, and the EZ-PD™ PAG1P is responsible for providing the start-up function, driving the primary-side FETs, and responding to fault conditions.
