The LSM6DSV320XTR sensor is a 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) launched by STMicroelectronics. It features a compact 3mm×2.5mm package and integrates a dual speedometer and gyroscope, supporting motion tracking and high-intensity impact measurement.

The LSM6DSV320XTR 6-axis IMU has the following features

Four-channel architecture, used for UI, EIS, OIS and high G-value data processing

Achieve system power consumption optimization and provide an intelligent experience that is always perceived

The intelligent FIFO supports up to 4.5KB of data buffering and can achieve 2 to 3 times data compression

The LSM6DSV320XTR 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) is a complex IMU that integrates a 3-axis digital low-G accelerometer, a 3-axis digital high-G accelerometer, and a 3-axis digital gyroscope. This IMU is designed to provide precise motion detection and sensor fusion capabilities, making it highly suitable for use in automotive collision detection, motion monitoring, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The LSM6DSV320XTR adopts a four-channel architecture, capable of processing acceleration and angular velocity data on four independent channels. Each channel is equipped with dedicated configuration, processing and filtering functions. In addition, the LSM6DSV320XTR also achieves configurable motion tracking through a finite state machine (FSM) and context awareness through a machine learning core (MLC), thus supporting embedded artificial intelligence and sensor fusion functions.


The LSM6DSV320XTR is equipped with Adaptive Self-configuration (ASC) functionality, which can automatically reconfigure the device in real time based on the specific motion mode or decision tree output of the MLC. This IMU also features a dedicated high-G-value accelerometer sensor, enabling high-G-value impact detection. Therefore, it is suitable for applications that require robust impact detection. Other notable features include an intelligent FIFO with a capacity of up to 4.5KB, enabling efficient data management. And a series of standard interrupt functions, such as free fall, wake-up, 6D/4D orientation, single/double click, high g value wake-up and high g value impact detection, etc. The LSM6DSV320XTR is designed to optimize system power consumption while providing an alders-aware intelligent experience.
