Onsemi today announced that certain models of Xiaomi's electric SUV product, the YU7, are equipped with an advanced 800V drive platform supported by Onsemi's EliteSiC M3e technology. The EliteSiC M3e platform offers exceptional performance, enabling electric vehicle manufacturers to design smaller, lighter, and more stable and reliable electric vehicle traction systems.
By integrating Onsemi's EliteSiC M3e technology into its main drive inverter, the platform achieves higher performance and power density while reducing overall system costs, providing drivers with longer range.
Additionally, ON Semiconductor's EliteSiC technology offers industry-leading ultra-low on-resistance, enabling higher peak power in a smaller footprint, resulting in faster vehicle acceleration without compromising efficiency or range.
