Product Description:

The TPSM8S6B24 is a highly integrated, easy-to-use, non-isolated DC/DC step-down power module with the addition of manufacturer-specific PMBus commands. The new EXTENDED_WRITE_PROTECT and PASSKEY improve security by limiting write capabilities at a higher resolution than standard write protection commands, helping to prevent malicious access to PMBus.

The TPSM8S6B24 is a 25A power module that pulls up to 100A of current with 4x stacking capability. The device can overdrive the internal 5V LDO via an external 5V power supply to achieve a lower input voltage range as low as 2.95V and improve the efficiency of the converter.

The TPSM8S6B24 power module uses a proprietary fixed frequency current mode control with input feedforward and optional internal compensation elements to minimize size and improve stability at various output capacitors.

• Nine optional switching frequency ranges: 275kHz to 1.1MHz

• Frequency sync input/sync output

• Supports pre-biased output
