The ADuCM420 is a fully integrated single-package package that includes a high-performance analog and digital peripherals suite controlled by a 160MHz Arm ® Cortex™-M33 processor, as well as integrated flash memory for digital code and data.
The ADuCM420 features a low-power Arm Cortex-M33 processor and a 32-bit Reduced Instruction set computer (RISC) machine that delivers peak performance of up to 240 MIPS via a floating point unit (FPU). Also integrated on-chip are 2× 256 kB flash /EE memory and 64 kB static random access memory (SRAM), both with single-bit error correction (SEC), two-bit error detection (DED), and error checking and correction (ECC). The flash memory contains two separate 256 kB modules that allow one flash memory module to execute programs while the other flash memory module performs write/erase operations.
The ADuCM420 operates with an on-chip oscillator and a PLL frequency of 160 MHz. The clock can be selectively divided to reduce power consumption. Other low power modes can be set through the ADuCM420 software.
The suite includes a management data input/output (MDIO) interface capable of operating at frequencies up to 10 MHz. By merging physical address (PHYADR) and device address (DEVADD) hardware comparators, user programming can be simplified. The non-erasable kernel numeric code is combined with the flag in the user's flash memory to reliably switch between two independent hardware flash blocks using the household word code.
