The on-chip jitter option improves SFDR performance through low-power analog input.
The proprietary differential input maintains excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) performance at a maximum input frequency of 300 MHz.
It is powered by a single 1.8V supply, while the digital output driver is powered by an independent supply to support 1.8V CMOS or LVDS output.
The Standard Serial Port Interface (SPI) supports various product features and functions, such as: data formatting (offset binary, binary complement or Gray code), clock DCS enabling, power-saving mode, test mode, and reference voltage mode, etc.
Compatible with the AD9258 pin, it enables 16-bit products to be easily migrated to 14-bit products. The AD9268BCPZ-125 is also pin-compatible with the AD9251, AD9231 and AD9204 series products, which are targeted at applications with lower sampling rates and low power consumption.
Overview
The AD9268BCPZ-125 is a dual-channel, 16-bit, 125 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed to support communication applications that require high performance, low cost, small size and versatility.
This dual-channel ADC core adopts a multi-level, differential pipeline architecture and integrates output error correction logic. Each ADC features a wide bandwidth, differential sampling-holding analog input amplifier, supporting a variety of input ranges selectable by the user. The AD9268BCPZ-125 integrated reference voltage source simplifies the design. Duty cycle stabilizers can be used to compensate for the fluctuations in the duty cycle of the ADC clock, enabling the converter to maintain excellent performance.
The ADC output data of the AD9268BCPZ-125 can be directly routed to two external 16-bit output ports, which can be set to 1.8V CMOS or LVDS.
When necessary, the flexible power-saving options of the AD9268BCPZ-125 can significantly reduce power consumption.
Settings and control programming are accomplished using a three-wire SPI-compatible serial interface.
The AD9268BCPZ-125 is packaged in a 64-pin LFCSP package and has a rated temperature range of -40 °C to +85°C in the industrial temperature range.
