Overview:

The AFE7684IABJ is a high-performance four-channel, 14-bit integrated RF sampling analog front end (AFE) with nine GSPS Dacs and three GSPS ADCs that support synthetic and digital broadband signals. The high dynamic range enables the AFE7684 to generate and digitize 3G/4G signals for wireless base stations.


The AFE76xx series features an integrated DSA on the receiver channel while supporting the DSA equivalent on the transmitter channel. Each receiver channel has an analog RF peak power detector and multiple digital power detectors to assist with automatic gain control (AGC) on the receiver channel, and two RF overload detectors to protect device reliability.
