Description

The F2800157EPHPQ1 is an scalable, ultra-low latency device of the cost-optimized C2000 real-time microcontroller series, designed to enhance the efficiency of power electronic products.

The F2800157EPHPQ1 adopts a 32-bit lock-step dual C28x CPU, enabling this device to become an ASIL Class B functional safety device without excessive software overhead. The real-time control subsystem is based on TI's 32-bit C28x DSP core and can provide 120MHz signal processing performance for floating-point or fixed-point code running from on-chip flash memory or SRAM. The trigonometric Function Accelerator (TMU) and VCRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) extended instruction set further enhance the performance of the C28x CPU, thereby accelerating the speed of key and commonly used algorithms in real-time control systems.


The F2800157EPHPQ1 supports up to 256KB (128KW) of flash memory. Up to 18KB of on-chip SRAM can also be used to supplement flash memory.


The high-performance analog module is integrated into the F2800157EPHPQ1 real-time microcontroller (MCU) and tightly coupled with the processing unit and PWM unit to provide better real-time signal chain performance. The 14 PWM channels can control various power levels from three-phase inverters to power factor correction, as well as other advanced multi-stage power supply topologies.
