The C2000 series includes advanced performance MCUS and entry-level performance MCUS.


The TMS320F28374DZWTS is a powerful 32-bit floating-point microcontroller unit (MCU), specifically designed for advanced closed-loop control applications such as industrial motor drives, photovoltaic inverters and digital power supplies, electric vehicles and transportation, as well as induction and signal processing. To accelerate application development, the DigitalPower software Development Kit (SDK) for C2000 MCU and the MotorControl software Development Kit (SDK) for C2000™ MCU are provided. The TMS320F28374DZWTS supports the new dual-core C28x architecture, significantly enhancing system performance. In addition, integrated analog and control peripherals also allow designers to integrate control architectures and eliminate the need for multi-processors in high-end systems.


The dual real-time control subsystem is based on TI's 32-bit C28x floating-point CPU, and each core can provide a signal processing performance of 200MHz. The performance of the C28x CPU has been further enhanced through the new TMU accelerator and VCU accelerator. The TMU accelerator is capable of quickly executing the algorithms of common triangulation operations in transformation and torque loop calculations. The VCU accelerator can shorten the time of common complex mathematical operations in coding applications.


In addition, the TMS320F28374DZWTS supports 512KB of on-board flash memory with Error Correction Code (ECC) and 86KB of SRAM. Each CPU also has two 128-bit security zones for code protection.
