Mingjiada Electronics supplies original Renesas Electronics ISL3155EIBZ - high reliability 5V RS-485/RS-422 transceiver with ±16.5kV ESD protection, high noise immunity and low power consumption features, which is widely used in industrial automation, smart meters, security monitoring and other fields.

ISL3155EIBZ has the following features:

High ESD protection: withstands ±16.5kV IEC61000-4-2 ESD shock without latch-up.

High Output Drive: Output voltage of 3.1V typical at 54Ω load with high noise immunity to drive up to 8000 ft long bus segments or 8 120Ω terminals in a star topology.

Low Bus Input Current: Bus input current is less than 125µA, constituting a true 1/8 unit load and allowing up to 512 transceivers to be connected to the same bus.

Fully Fail-Safe Receiver: The receiver inputs are fully fail-safe, with the receiver outputs going high when the bus inputs are open or shorted.

Multiple Data Rate Support: Supports 115kbps, 1Mbps and 20Mbps data rates.

Low Power Consumption: 550μA supply current with driver disabled and 70nA ultra-low shutdown current.

Hot-swappable feature: Driver and receiver outputs maintain high impedance during power-up and power-down to avoid interference with the bus.

Wide operating temperature range: The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of harsh environments.
