STM32L4A6VGT6 device overview:

ST's STMicroelectronics STM32L4 32-bit MCUs+FPUs are ultra-low power microcontrollers based on the high-performance ARM®Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core operating at up to 80 MHz.The Cortex-M4 core features Single Floating-Point Unit (SFPU) precision, and supports all ARM single-precision data processing instructions and data types. A full set of DSP instructions and a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) are executed simultaneously for enhanced application security.


The STM32L4 microcontroller is based on a new ultra-low power platform with FlexPowerControl. The STM32L4 outperforms its market counterparts in the area of ultra-low power consumption, with an EEMBC ULPBench score of 150 ULPBench™-CP.


It offers up to 2Mbyte of Flash (dual banks) and up to 640Kbytes of SRAM, and can deliver 100DMIPS/273 CoreMark scores thanks to the 80MHz ST ART Accelerator™. The multi-AHB bus matrix and DMA controller optimise the overall system performance.


The STM32L4 microcontroller can be used to replace current designs using the STM32F4 for low-power functionality. It is pin-to-pin compatible and can replace the STM32F4 without changing the board layout.
