Overview
The KW41Z is an ultra-low power, highly integrated single-chip device that enables portable, ultra-low power embedded systems with Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) v4.2 and IEEE® 802.15.4 RF connectivity. Applications include portable medical devices, wearable sports and fitness devices, AV remotes, computer keyboards and mice, game controllers, access security systems, smart energy and home networking.
The KW41Z wireless MCU integrates a 2.4GHz transceiver with support for FSK/GFSK and O-QPSK modulation, an ARM® Cortex®-M0+ CPU, up to 512KB of flash memory and 128KB of SRAM, 802.15.4 packet processor, hardware security and peripherals, and more. It can meet the needs of target applications.
The KW41Z is an ideal solution for true single-chip designs that require parallel communication over Bluetooth Low Energy networks and 802.15.4-based networks such as Thread. This multimode feature enables direct Bluetooth Low Energy communication via mobile devices and can be incorporated into mesh networks for local and remote control/monitoring.
