1. i.MX Series: High-performance Application Processors 

The i.MX series is the flagship application processor of NXP, featuring both high computational power and low-power consumption, supporting Linux, Android, and other applications. It supports Linux, Android and other operating systems, and is widely used in smart terminals, edge computing and multimedia processing.

i.MX 8 series MPUs: 

- i.MX 8M series: Cortex-A53 (1.3-1.8GHz) + Cortex-M4 heterogeneous architecture, integrated 3D GPU and 4K video encoding and decoding, suitable for smart home central control, industrial HMI, representative models: i.MX 8M Plus (NPU-enriched, supports machine learning), i.MX 8M Mini (cost-effective). 2. Layerscape Series : Multi-core network processor 

Designed for communication and data centre, integrated multi-core Cortex-A72/A53 architecture, supporting high-speed network interface and hardware acceleration, suitable for 5G base stations, routers and cloud servers.

- LX2160A: 16-core Cortex-A72 (2.2GHz) with 100G Ethernet and PCIe Gen4 support for NFV/SDN infrastructure.

- LS1028A: Dual-core Cortex-A72 + real-time control subsystem, supports TSN (Time Sensitive Networking), for industrial automation and smart manufacturing.


3. i.MX RT series: Cross-border processors (high-performance MCU + MPU features) 

Although categorised as MCUs, the i.MX RT series excels in real-time control and lightweight computing scenarios thanks to its Cortex-M7/M33 cores and high main frequency (600MHz-1GHz).

- i.MX RT1170: Dual-core Cortex-M7 (1GHz) + Cortex-M4 (400MHz) with 2D GPU and Gigabit Ethernet support for smart gateways and industrial HMIs. 

- i.MX RT1060: Cortex-M7 single-core (600MHz) with integrated high-capacity RAM for high-speed data acquisition and motor control NXP ARM Microprocessor
