The TMC5072 CDRIVER™ is an integrated motor driver and motion controller solution for CCTV cameras, pumps and other automation equipment applications. The device integrates two SixPoint™ ramp controllers, microstepper, sensorless stall detection technology StallGuard2™, and StealthChop™, a completely noiseless current control mode designed to drive two bipolar stepper motors. The output driver module consists of a low RDSon N channel power MOSFETs configured as full H-bridges to drive the motor windings. The TMC5072 is capable of driving up to 1.5A of current from each output (with appropriate heat dissipation). The TMC5072 is designed for power supply voltages from 5 to 28V. For high reliability requirements, the encoder interface provides system status feedback. The device provides an SPI interface for configuration and diagnostics, as well as a stepping and directional interface.
