Device description:

The AD3541R is a low-drift, single-channel, ultra-fast, 16-bit precision, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can be configured in multiple voltage ranges. The AD3541R uses a 2.5V fixed reference voltage source. The device contains three drift compensated feedback resistors, an internal transresistance amplifier (TIA) for regulating the output voltage. The AD3541R has five pre-configured output ranges: 0 V to 2.5 V, 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10 V, −5 V to +5 V, and −2.5 V to +7.5 V.

The DAC can be run in fast mode for higher speed, or in precise mode for higher accuracy.

The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) can be configured in single-channel SPI (classic SPI) mode or dual-channel SPI mode with single data rate (SDR) or double data rate (DDR) with logic levels from 1.2V to 1.8V. To improve device robustness, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) can be enabled. Multiple error checkers are also integrated to detect VREF failures or memory mapping corruption.
