The FT260 is a HID class USB to I 2C/UART interface device controller with the following advanced features:

Single chip USB to UART/I2C bridge supporting standard Human Interface Device (HID) class

Supports two USB HID interfaces, each corresponding to an on-chip physical interface, I2C and UART

Supports four speed modes defined in the I2C bus specification, Standard Mode (SM), Fast Mode (FM), Fast Mode+ (FM+), and High Speed Mode (HS)

Powerful FTDI UART controller with both hardware and software flow control features

Data rates from 1.2Kbuad to 12Mbaud at TTL levels (RS422, RS485, RS232)

Fully integrated oscillator PLL, no external crystal required

Multiple I/O operating voltage levels: 1.8V to 3.3V

USB2.0 low operating and quiescent current: 24mA typical operating current, 385μA typical quiescent current

Extended operating temperature range: -40°C to 85°C

Available in a compact, lead-free, 28-pin, WQFN package (RoHS compliant)
