Product description

The LTM2887IY-5S is a complete current digital µModule®(micro module) isolator. The LTM2887IY uses no external components. A single 3.3V or 5V power supply supplies both sides of the interface via an integrated isolated DC/DC converter. A logic power supply pin provides easy connections with different logic levels from 1.62V to 5.5V, independent of the main power supply.

LTM2887IY-5S available options comply with SPI specifications.

The LTM2887IY-5S isolation side includes two nominal 5V power supplies with programmable current limiting, each capable of delivering more than 100mA of load current. These power supplies can be adjusted from their nominal value with a single external resistor.

The LTM2887IY-5S is suitable for applications requiring high-speed data transmission and electrical isolation, and features include:

High-speed operation ‌ : Data rate up to 20 Mb/s

High isolation voltage ‌ : 10 kV isolation voltage

Low propagation delay ‌ : Propagation delay time of 60 ns
