The ADN4655BRSZ is a dual channel LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signal) isolator. It is mainly used for signal isolation, operating at speeds up to 1.1Gbps and has low jitter characteristics. The ADN4655BRSZ integrates iCoupler technology to enhance high-speed operation and provide current isolation for LVDS drivers and receivers that comply with TIA/EIA-644-A standards. With this integration, the embedded isolation of LVDS signal chain can be realized.
The ADN4655BRSZ includes a variety of channel configurations, and the LVDS receiver on the ADN4655 includes a fail-safe mechanism to ensure that the corresponding LVDS driver outputs logic if the input is suspended, short-circuited, or terminated but not driven.
For high-speed operation under low jitter conditions, LVDS and isolator circuits rely on a 2.5V power supply. The integrated on-chip Low Voltage Difference (LDO) regulator provides the required 2.5V voltage from an external 3.3V power supply. The ADN4655BRSZ is perfectly suited for use over a wide industrial temperature range in a 20-pin SSOP package with 3.75 kV rms isolation.
