Description:
The MAX20303HEWN is a highly integrated, programmable power management solution designed for ultra-low power wearable applications. The devices are optimised for size and efficiency, enhancing the value of the final product by extending battery life and reducing the total solution size. A flexible set of power-optimised voltage regulators, including multiple buck, boost, boost/buck and linear regulators, provide a high degree of integration and enable the composition of fully optimised power architectures. Each regulator's quiescent current is specifically optimised to 1µA (typical) to extend battery life in ready-to-run applications.
Includes a complete battery management solution, including battery sealing, charger, power path and power meter. Thermal management and input protection are built into the charger. The device also includes factory programmable keypad controllers with multiple inputs that can be customised to fit specific product UX requirements. Three integrated LED current drivers are included for indication or backlighting functions; an ERM/LRA driver with automatic resonance tracking can provide refined tactile feedback to the user. The device is configurable via an I2C interface, allowing different functions to be programmed and device status to be read, including the ability to read temperature and supply voltage via the integrated ADC. The devices are available in a 56-ball, 0.5mm ball pitch, 3.71mm x 4.21mm, wafer-level package (WLP) and operate over the -40°C to +85°C extended grade temperature range.
