Overview

The ASMedia PCIe product ASM2824 is a low-latency, low-cost, low-power 24-channel packet switch with up to 12 downlink ports. With upstream PCIe Gen3x8 bandwidth, the ASM2824 enables users to build a variety of high-speed IO systems, including servers, system storage, or communication platforms.

Auto-detects channel configuration at startup

Supports 2.5Gb (250MB/s), 5Gb (500MB/s) transfer rates per channel

Downstream PCIe Interface

Supports L0s/L1/L23/L3 power saving states

Supports L1 sub-state deep power saving mode

Supports S3/S4 wake-up function

Supports disabling ports via individual control
