The AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 is a single-chip millimeter wave sensor consisting of an FMCW transceiver. The device is capable of operating in the 76GHz to 81GHz (EHF) band and includes radar data processing elements and a rich set of on-board network peripherals. The AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 provides customers with additional LOP-on-package (LOP) antenna features to facilitate direct antenna connection to the package. The AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 is manufactured using TI's low-power 45nm RFCMOS process, enabling excellent integration with ultra-low BOM numbers in a small package. The AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 is designed for use in low-power, self-monitoring, ultra-accurate radar systems in the automotive sector.
The AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 includes a radio processor subsystem (RSS) that is responsible for radar front-end configuration, control, and calibration. In the main subsystem (MSS), the AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 implements a user-programmable Arm Cortex-R5F processor that allows custom control and automotive interface applications. The hardware accelerator block (HWA 1.5) complements the MSS by offloading common radar processing, such as FFT, expansion, and compression. This saves MIPS on external processors, freeing up resources for custom applications and implementing higher-level post-processing algorithms.

Satellite architecture integration : AWR2544BGAMQRQ1 adopts distributed system design, which can transmit part of the processed 1D FFT data to the central computing unit through 1Gbps Ethernet in real time to improve the vehicle's 360-degree perception .
