Introduction

The ADV3003ACPZ is a 4-channel TMDS (Minimised transmission Differential signal) buffer with balanced input and pre-weighted output. Both the input and output terminals of the device are terminated with 50Ω resistors, providing full swing output signal recovery with minimal reflection and improving system signal integrity. The ADV3003ACPZ is designed for HDMI™/DVI applications and is ideal for systems with long cables, long PCB tracks, and internal wiring designs.

The ADV3003ACPZ is available in a 40-pin LFCSP table mount plastic encapsulation package that complies with RoHS standards. The rated operating temperature range is −40°C to +85°C.

1, Support up to 2.25Gbps data rate, ADV3003ACPZ can achieve 1080p dark (12-bit color) HDMI format and UXGA (1600 × 1200) DVI resolution above.

2. 12 dB Input cable The equalizer supports long cables for the input end. For a typical 24 AWG cable, the ADV3003ACPZ compensates for losses of more than 20 meters at a maximum data rate of 2.25 Gbps.

3, with the optional 6 dB output pre-weight function, the ADV3003ACPZ can drive high-loss output cables or longer PCB lines.

4, 50 Ω in-chip input and output matching terminal resistance can improve system signal integrity.

5, the external control pin PE_EN can set the output pre-weight to 0 dB or 6 dB.

6, the external control pin TX_EN disables both the transmitter and the on-chip input terminal resistor. This feature reduces the power consumption of the ADV3003ACPZ and informs the connected device source when the ADV3003ACPZ is disabled.
