Mingjiada News On July 7, UNISOC and Guanghetong announced the joint launch of the latest generation of 5G chip platform V516 that complies with the 3GPP Release 16 standard. It is understood that the platform has achieved the world's first business verification based on the 3GPP R16 protocol version.


It is understood that the UNISOC V516 platform is the first IoT baseband chip platform in the industry to support 5G R16 Ready. It supports the high-precision timing of the 3GPP R16 protocol, 5G LAN and some uRLLC and other cutting-edge technical features. After the cooperation between the two parties was launched, Guanghe Tongtong will successively launch new module products based on the Zhanrui V516 platform, and the two parties will work together to accelerate the commercialization of 5G for vertical industries.
