Ericsson said that the current global 5G penetration rate is the highest in North America and Northeast Asia, about 20%; by 2027, 5G users in North America will account for 90% of its mobile users, ranking first in the world, followed by Western Europe, 5G penetration The rate will reach 82%.
In Northeast Asia, 5G is currently the only type of mobile service that is growing. With the accelerated transfer of mobile users from 4G to 5G, about 275 million new users will be added in Northeast Asia in 2021, and the number of mobile users in the region is expected to reach 10 by the end of 2023. 100 million.
