About:

The LTC3769 is a high-performance, single-output, synchronous boost converter controller for driving full n-channel power MOSFETs. Its synchronous rectification improves efficiency, reduces power losses, and reduces heat dissipation requirements, simplifying high-power boost applications. The 28μA no-load static current extends uptime in battery-powered systems.


The 4.5V to 60V input power range covers a wide range of system architectures and battery chemistry. When bias is applied from the output of the boost converter or another auxiliary power supply, the LTC3769 can operate with an input power supply as low as 2.3V after startup. The operating frequency of the device can be set in the range of 50kHz to 900kHz or synchronized to an external clock using an internal PLL.

Wide VIN range: 4.5V to 60V (absolute maximum 65V); After starting, the working voltage is low to 2.3V

±1% 1.200V reference voltage

100% duty cycle capability for synchronizing MOSFETs

Low static current: 28μA

Phase-locked frequency (75kHz to 850kHz)

Programmable fixed frequency (50kHz to 900kHz)

Power supply good output voltage monitor

Low turn-off current: 4μA

The internal LDO uses VBIAS or EXTVCC to power the gate driver

Heat dissipation enhanced thin 24-pin 4mm x 4mm QFN package and 20-pin TSSOP package

Passed AEC-Q100 Automotive application certification
