The ADL5561ACPZ is a high-performance differential amplifier optimized for RF and IF ‌. With its ultra-low distortion, low noise and low power consumption, it is particularly suitable for driving 8-16 bit high-speed ADCs. The ADL5561 offers three optional gains through pin Settings of 6 dB, 12 dB, and 15.5 dB, which are reduced to 5.6 dB, 11.1 dB, and 14.1 dB in a single-ended configuration ‌. In addition, the ADL5561 uses an external series input resistor to flexibly extend the gain to achieve any gain from 0 to 15.5 dB ‌.


The ADL5561ACPZ has a typical static current of 40mA and consumes less than 3mA when disabled, providing excellent isolation between input and output.


The device's optimized broadband and low-distortion performance, coupled with its adjustable gain, makes it useful in general-purpose IF and broadband applications where low-distortion, low-noise and low-power characteristics are critical. The optimal combination of swing rate, bandwidth, and broadband distortion performance is optimized to drive A wide range of A/D converters and is particularly suitable for driving mixers, PIN diode attenuators, SAW filters, and multi-unit discrete devices.


The ADL5561ACPZ is manufactured using ADI's high-speed SiGe process and is packaged in a 3 mm×3 mm, 16-pin LFCSP compact package with an operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
