The Bosch BME280 Humidity and Pressure sensor is an integrated environmental sensor developed specifically for mobile applications where size and low power consumption are key requirements. The device combines a single, highly linear, high-precision sensor for pressure, humidity, and temperature in an 8-pin metal-capped LGA package. The BME280 sensor is designed for low current consumption (3.6μA at 1Hz), long-term stability and high EMC robustness.

The humidity sensor has a fast response time to meet performance requirements for applications such as environmental sensing, and has high accuracy over a wide temperature range. Humidity/pressure sensor is an absolute pressure sensor with high precision, high resolution and low noise. It is mainly used for temperature compensation of pressure and humidity sensors, and can also be used to estimate the ambient temperature. The Bosch BME280 supports a full set of operating modes to optimize power consumption, resolution, and filter performance.
