The Qorvo QPF4509 is a high power front-end module (FEM) designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems. Performance focuses on optimizing the PA's 5V supply voltage to minimize power consumption, allowing systems using digital predistortion to achieve the highest linear output power and leading throughput of the RF chain. This is done over broadband width, supporting operation in all channels of UNII1-4 (5.170 to 5.895 GHz).
Integrated coupler with RF output for DPD feedback training. For power control, a wide range, constant-slope voltage-logarithmic power detector is provided for application feedback. The QPF4509 integrates a 6GHz power amplifier (PA), a single-pole double-throw switch (SP2T), a coupler structure, and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) into a single device.
