The DLP7000UVFLP Digital Micromirror device (DMD), a new addition to the DLP® Discovery™ 4100 platform, ensures very fast graphics rates while also enabling high-performance spatial light modulation beyond the visible spectrum deep into the UVA spectrum (363nm to 420nm). The DLP7000UV DMD design uses a special window optimized for UV transmission. The DLP Discovery 4100 platform also offers the highest level of independent mirror control with random line addressing options. In addition to being packaged in a sealed package, the DLP7000UV offers unique functionality and value and is ideally suited to support a wide range of industrial, medical and advanced display applications.
The DLP7000UV DMD is sold in a sealed package with a dedicated DLPC410 controller, a DLPR410 (DLP Discovery 4100 configuration PROM) and a DLPA200 (DMD Micromirror driver).
The DLP7000UV needs to be combined with other components of the chipset for reliable function and operation. A dedicated chipset makes it easier for developers to access DMD and use high-speed, independent micromirror control.
