Description:

The PGA5807ARGCR is an 8-channel, high-bandwidth, analog front end (AFE). The device operates from a 3.3V analog single power supply. This device supports high bandwidth input frequencies with a total power of 60mW per channel. The PGA5807A contains a low noise amplifier (LNA), a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and a programmable low-pass filter (LPF). This LNA has a fixed gain of 12dB (differential amplifiers support direct and capacitive input coupling) and supports a maximum linear input range of 500mVPP.


This device offers gain options from 0dB to 18dB with gain steps of 3dB. This 18dB PGA gain can be set using a serial port or an external pin. The PGA5807A incorporates an anti-aliasing filter of the form LPF to reduce noise.
