ADS1018QDGSRQ1 Description:

The Texas Instruments ADS1018 12-bit analog-to-digital converter and temperature sensor has been designed with accuracy, power consumption and ease of implementation in mind.The TI ADS1018 has a built-in voltage reference and oscillator. Data is transferred via an SPI-compatible serial interface. This TI analogue-to-digital converter is powered by a single supply with a voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V. A programmable gain amplifier is integrated into the ADS1018, providing an input range that fluctuates up to ±256mV above and below the supply rail, allowing measurements to be made at high resolution regardless of the size of the signal. The ADS1018 can also operate as a high precision temperature sensor. This temperature sensor can be used for system level temperature monitoring or for cold junction temperature compensation of thermocouples.
