General Description:

The MLX90328 covers the most typical resistive Wheatstone bridge applications used in the automotive environment. It is a mixed-signal sensor interface IC that converts small changes in resistance in a full Wheatstone bridge configured on a sensing element into large output voltage changes.

Signal conditioning includes gain adjustment, offset control and temperature compensation to accommodate variations in different resistive sensing elements. The compensation values are stored in EEPROM and can be reprogrammed using the Melexis tool (including the necessary software). the MLX90328 is programmed via a single wire serial interface on the output pins.
