According to SAMMOBILE, Samsung was not successful in signing a contract to OEM the new Snapdragon 7 series chips.

The new Snapdragon 7 series chip is expected to be launched on March 17, according to Qualcomm, which announced today that it will hold a new Snapdragon mobile platform launch event on March 17, with the SM7475.

According to sources, the new Snapdragon 7 series chips will use TSMC's 4nm process, as Samsung's previous 4nm LPE process for Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chips was not as efficient as TSMC's. Qualcomm has not signed a foundry contract with Samsung for the new Snapdragon 7 series chips for energy efficiency reasons.


According to previous news, the new Snapdragon chip to be released is likely to be SM7475, with a 1*2.95Ghz+3*2.5Ghz+4*1.79Ghz octa-core CPU and Adreno 730 GPU, with an overall runtime score of 1,029,731 in Rabbit, more than 8200 in Tiangui. The Geekbench 5 score for the SM7475 chip is 1232 for single-core and 4095 for multi-core.
