The RAA2L6060A3HNP is a multi-channel LiDAR front-end IC from Renesas, which is mainly used for 3D object detection systems based on the Time-of-Flight (ToF) principle. This chip achieves object distance measurement and imaging by triggering a laser emitter (usually a laser diode) and receiving the reflected light signal.

The RAA2L6060A3HNP integrates a light pulse emission control module and a photosensitive array. It is capable of emitting light pulses and receiving the light signals reflected by objects, and transmitting the raw data to the back-end processor (such as Renesas R-Car V3M SoC) via the Quad-SPI interface. This chip supports dynamic adjustment of transmission power and reception sensitivity to adapt to scenarios with different distance and precision requirements. ‌
