The SSM2212RZ is a dual-channel NPN matched transistor pair designed specifically for ultra-low noise audio systems.

The SSM2212RZ has an extremely low input base distribution resistance (28 Ω typical for rbb) and high current gain (over 600 typical for hFE at IC= 1 mA) for excellent signal-to-noise ratio. It offers excellent performance compared to using commercially available single-chip amplifiers.

Current gain matching (ΔhFE of about 0.5%) and VOS below 50 μV (typical) are properties that make it ideal for symmetrically balanced designs that suppress high-order amplifier harmonic distortion.
