The DP83867CSRGZR is a robust, low-power, full-featured physical layer transceiver that integrates a PMD sublayer to support the 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet protocols.The DP83867 is optimised to provide ESD protection exceeding the 8kV IEC 61000-4-2 standard (direct contact).
The DP83867CSRGZR is designed to easily implement 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet LANs. The DP83867 connects directly to twisted pair media via an external transformer. The device connects directly to the MAC layer via the RGMII or embedded clock SGMII.
The DP83867CSRGZR provides precise clock synchronisation, including a synchronised Ethernet clock output.The DP83867 has low latency and provides IEEE 1588 frame start detection.
The DP83867CSRGZR is a low-power design, consuming only 457mW at full power operation.Wake-on-LAN can be used to reduce system power consumption.
