Overview:

The AS8510-ASSM is a data acquisition front-end IC with virtually no bias, low noise and dual-channel measurement performance. Designed to accurately measure battery current, the current is measured in combination with a 100 µOhm shunt resistor in series with the battery rails for accurate measurements in the mA to kA range. The device provides a second measurement channel to capture the voltage of the battery current synchronously and also measures the analogue output signal from an internal or external temperature sensor.
