The ADSC572WCBCZ400 processor is a member of the SHARC® family of products.The ADSP-SC57x processors are based on dual-core and ARM® Cortex®-A5 cores. Optimised for high-performance audio/floating-point applications, these 32-bit/40-bit/64-bit floating-point processors feature large on-chip static random-access memories (SRAMs), multiple internal buses eliminating input/output (I/O) bottlenecks, and an innovative Digital Audio Interface (DAI).New features of the SHARC+ core include cache enhancements and branch prediction, while maintaining the instruction set compatibility with previous instruction sets. By integrating a suite of industry-leading system peripherals and memory, the ARM CortexA5 and SHARC processors are the platforms of choice for applications requiring programmability similar to reduced instruction set computing (RISC).
