Optimised for high-performance audio/floating-point applications, these 32-bit/40-bit/64-bit floating-point processors feature large on-chip static random-access memories (SRAMs), multiple internal buses eliminating input/output (I/O) bottlenecks, and an innovative Digital Audio Interface (DAI).New features of the SHARC+ core include cache enhancements and branch prediction, while keeping the instruction set compatibility with previous instruction set products.
