TPS62873QWRXSRQ1 is a pin-to-pin 15A step-down DC/DC converter with differential remote sensing. Each current rating is available in full-function device models with I2C interface and limited function device models without I2C interface. All devices are highly efficient and easy to use. Low resistance power switches support up to 15A continuous output current at high ambient temperatures. Each device can operate in stacked mode to provide higher output current. The device can also be used to increase power dissipation on multiple devices.
TPS6287x-Q1 series uses enhanced DCS control scheme to support fast transients with fixed frequency operation. These devices operate in power-saving mode for maximum efficiency or forced-PWM mode for excellent transient performance and have minimal output voltage ripple. Optional remote sensing features maximize voltage regulation at load points. The device achieves a DC voltage accuracy of better than ±1% under all conditions. Switching frequency can be selected through the resistor with FSEL pins. The switching frequency can be set to 1.5MHz, 2.25MHz, 2.5MHz, or 3.0MHz, or synchronized to an external clock within the same frequency range.
The I2C compatible interface has a variety of control, warning, and monitoring features. This includes voltage monitoring and temperature-related warnings. The output voltage can be adjusted through the I2C compatible interface to quickly adjust the power consumption of the load according to the performance requirements of the application. The default starting voltage is available for resistor selection via the VSEL pin.
