The TLE9278BQX provides the highest level of integration in the smallest footprint for automotive applications requiring multi-channel CAN transceivers such as gateways and high-end body control modules (BCMs).

The TLE9278BQX energy-efficient switched-mode power supply (SMPS) buck regulator provides an external 5.0 V output voltage of up to 750 mA, while an additional DC/DC boost converter supports applications or conditions with low input supply voltages. The device is controlled and monitored via a 16-bit serial peripheral interface (SPI). Other features include a timeout/window watchdog circuit with reset, fault output, and undervoltage reset. The device offers a low-power mode to support applications that are permanently connected to the battery. Wake-up from low-power mode is available via the LIN/CAN bus, a bi-level sensitive monitor/wake-up input, and a timer.The TLE9278BQX is available in a very small footprint exposed pad PG-VQFN-48 (7 x 7 mm2) power supply package.

Four CAN transceivers compliant with CAN Flexible Data Rate (FD) ISO 11898-2: 2016 standard up to 5 Mbit/s

One general-purpose high-voltage wake-up input for voltage level monitoring, including wake-up function

Cyclic wake-up function via integrated timer

Reset output to ensure stable power supply to the MCU

Fault output for activation of external loads in case of detected system faults

Output voltage monitoring function at all output supply voltages
