The AD8152JBPZ is a breakthrough crosspoint switch that provides a large switch array (34 × 34) at very low power (typically 2.0 W). In addition, it can operate at data rates up to 3.2 Gbps per port, making it suitable for Sonet/SDH OC-48 applications using forward error correction (FEC).

The AD8152JBPZ offers an effective supply voltage range so users can operate at LVPECL/CML data levels with supply voltages as low as 2.5 V. The control interfaces are either low-voltage transistor-to-transistor logic (LVTTL) or low-voltage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (LVCMOS) and are compatible over the 2.5 V to 3.3 V range.

The AD8152JBPZ's fully differential signal path not only reduces jitter and crosstalk, but also allows the use of small single-ended voltage swings. The device is available in a 256-pin BGA_ED package and operates over the 0°C to 85°C industrial temperature range.
